Toporkov Dmitry Alexandrovich
Toporkov Dmitry Alexandrovich (1885–1937) is a painter of the pre-revolutionary school of painting, as well as a graphic artist. Toporkov studied at the Moscow College of Arts, Sculpture and Architecture. He was the pupil and the successor of A. Arkhipov and K. Korovin. Since 1922, he was a member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia, and a participant of the Association’s national and international exhibitions. In 1932, Toporkov participated in a creative trip organized by the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia to the Far East. His works are exhibited at the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and many art museums in Russia.
