Letyanin Victor Feodorovich
In 1939 Viktor Letianin entered the Gorky Art School, where he studied until the Second World War broke out. After the war, the soldier Letyanin carried on with his studies at the Ilya Repin Arts Institute in Leningrad, where he was tutored by the prominent battle-painter Rudolf Frents . In his art, Letyanin continues the traditions of K.Korovin, M.Vrubel and V.Serov. Letianin’s works have been acquired by art museums and galleries in Russia , as well as private collectors in Italy and Germany.
